Welcome Back, Students!

With the blessings of God and a lot of help from our friends, St. Joseph School will open its doors for the 58th time.  The 2010-2011 school year began on Thursday, August 26 for students in grades 1-8 and Friday, August 27 for Kindergarten.  The 3 year old preschool program begins on Tuesday, September 7, and the 4 year old preschool program begins on Wednesday, September 8.  While there have been some changes, the integrity of the curriculum remains solid.  Plans are being designed and implemented for a secure future.  The parents who have entrusted the gift of their children to St. Joseph School are making that future possible. Welcome back!

Welcome, Miss Pifko!

With great joy, St. Joseph School welcomes Miss Kelly Pifko to the faculty.  Miss Pifko is a graduate of St. Joseph School, was a Youthtown Young Scholar and graduated from Duquesne University cum laude.  For the 2010-2011 school year, Miss Pifko will be teaching the 3 and 4 year old preschool.  We are also happy to welcome back Mrs. Maria Flasco as our preschool aide.  We look forward to a fun-filled learning experience for these little ones through the efforts of Miss Pifko and Mrs. Flasco.
